SOPHIE von Fürstenberg was an eccentric German aristocrat who settled in a flat in the historic centre of Barcelona halfway through the last century. An untiring traveler and photographer with a keen and revealing eye, Sophie turned her house into a buzzing operations room where she could recover from her exploits, develop negatives and organize artistic soirées. This fabulous space, whose mosaics had once seen the likes of Gaudí, Picasso or Dalí, provided the inspiration for the patterns and textures of this collection. Modern patterns are viewed under the sophisticated and mysterious shadow that Sophie cast.
