Shipping Policy/Charges

Canada

5 or more rolls = $40 shipping
PLEASE NOTE that at the time the package is delivered, Canadian customers may also incur a USPS customs clearance charge as well as local and country-wide taxes which vary. Please contact us at info@hyggeandwest.com with any questions about Canadian shipping rates.
International
1-2 rolls = $25 shipping
3-4 rolls = $40 shipping
5 or more rolls = $50 shipping
Orders of in stock items will ship within 1-5 business days unless otherwise noted. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information when your order ships.
Express shipping: If you need expedited air shipping, please contact us at info@hyggeandwest.com or call 415.318.6412 for quotes and information.
Upon placement of order, please check your confirmation email to ensure that the ship to address is correct. If there is an error, please contact us immediately. Once a package has been shipped, there is a $25 redirect charge should the address need to be changed while the order is in transit.
Forms of Payment
We accept Visa, MasterCard and American Express. If you would like to place an order over the phone, you can do so by calling us at 415.318.6412. You may also e-mail us at info@hyggeandwest.com with your order information and your address and phone number where you can be reached. We will call you for your credit card information. We do not accept personal checks.
Sales Tax
Sales tax will be charged on all orders shipped to Minnesota (6.5%). Residents of other states are responsible for complying with local state tax laws.
Privacy Policy
We will never sell, loan, rent or distribute any personal information to third parties under any circumstance, including the contact information of those who subscribe to our mailing list. We may notify you by email about special offers, events and products we think you would want to hear about. If you do not wish to receive our newsletter and announcements, please contact us at info@hyggeandwest.com or click the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of the email when you receive it.
Security of Credit Card Information
Our shopping cart uses PayPal which features SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption when transmitting certain kinds of information, such as financial services information or payment information. An icon resembling a padlock is displayed on the bottom of most browser windows during SSL transactions that involve credit cards and other forms of payment. Any time PayPal asks for a credit card number during checkout for payment, it will be SSL encrypted. We do not keep your credit card information on file.
Samples
We offer samples to help you with your wallpaper decisions. We recommend purchasing a sample as monitors vary with displaying colors on screen. If you purchase any wallpaper rolls or fabric yardage through Hygge Cooperative, all sample charges will be refunded upon purchase. Return/Exchange
Purchases can be returned for a full refund, minus a $20 restocking fee, within 14 days from delivery date as long as product is in its original condition and is returned to us in the original packing, with all inserts. **Please note that due to high customs charges into Spain, Tres Tintas wallpapers are non-returnable. Please email info@hyggeandwest.com or call 415.318.6412 for a return authorization prior to shipping the item back to us. Once you receive a return authorization, the item must be returned within the following 2 weeks, or we will not be able to accept it.
All costs for return shipment are the responsibility of the customer. Please pack the item well (additional packaging may be necessary) and insure it for the full amount - we recommend using UPS or FedEx so that the shipment can be tracked. We are not responsible for lost packages.
If you received a gift, your gift will be refunded for a store credit or the amount will be applied to the purchaser's credit card - we do not offer cash refunds on gift purchases.
All sale items are non-refundable.
Report Damaged Shipments
We take great care in inspecting and packing our products in an effort to ensure that they arrive in perfect condition. If by chance damage does occur, please contact us within 5 business days of receipt of order via email at info@hyggeandwest.com to arrange for a replacement. Please keep the original item and all packing material. We will replace the item at no additional shipping cost.
Cancellation Policy
Orders must be canceled within 24 hours. Please contact us at info@hyggeandwest.com or 415.318.6412 to cancel your order. Custom orders must be canceled within 24 hours or they are considered final and non-refundable.
Wallpaper Details and Hanging Instructions
Please read carefully the instructions that are included with the wallpaper packaging. If you would like a reference for a paper hanger in the San Francisco area, just email us at info@hyggeandwest.com or give us a call at 415.318.6412. Tres Tintas used the quality wallpaper Dúplex for its collections Revival, Déjà Vu and All City Papers. It is a high quality paper and also has Finland’s clean woods certificate. To hang it, first adhere the glue on the back of the roll and extend it over the wall. Non-woven paper was used for the collections 9 Selvas of Mariscal and Wall-à-Porter. Here, the textile fibers are pressed instead of woven. To hang, first apply the glue to the wall and then adhere the cut piece. makelike wallpaper is a traditional wallpaper meaning that glue is applied to the paper and then bookend. Complete hanging instructions are included with the product.
Erica Wakerly wallpapers are fire rated for use in commercial and residential interiors according to European standards. All wallpapers are printed with environmentally friendly, color-fast, non-toxic, water-based inks. Please note that Erica Wakerly wallpapers are printed using traditional techniques. This can result in slight irregularities in the print but will not affect the overall finished effect. It is recommended that walls are prepared with an alkaline resistant primer or sealant and lined with a good quality lining paper. Full hanging instructions are supplied with the product.

NLXL wallpaper is quick to hang by using the paste directly to the wall technique. Complete hanging instructions are included with the product.
