Emma Molony
Emma Molony is a printmaker and designer based in Devon, England. She uses wallpaper as an extension of her artwork and loves the idea of papering walls with stories and narrative. Her wallpaper designs begin with hand-cut paper silhouettes from which she creates a silk screen design and screenprints a repeat until she is happy with the wallpaper pattern. The paper is then screenprinted by a UK wallpaper manufacturer as Emma is far too messy and inky to ever make wallpaper very successfully.
In Devon, Emma enjoys making cider from the orchard she owns with a few friends, walking in the wintery frosty countryside and reading by huge log fires in village pubs.
Small beautiful lights and the smell of cooking are the two things that make home cosy for Emma.
