PATTERN STORY

The basis for Angles were numerous 3D stick models made and then drawn from at different angles. The width of the metallic line was key to the success of the design and Erica had to push her manufactures to take their skills and techniques in a new directions and the machinery to its technical limit.  When she first printed the Angles wallpaper, Erica loved how the silver lines subtly reflected the light and dark. The lines almost appear to slowly move as the light changes throughout the day. The effect of the light beautifully softens the sharp angular pattern. The wallpaper takes on a new character in the evening light, reflecting the warmer lighting, than during the day. Erica Wakerly is based in London and known for her award winning, modern wallpaper designs.
